Inside the Walls - the quiz

As mentioned in our previous blog post, our app Inside the Walls will feature an e-voucher section and a quiz that will the user's knowledge of York!

The ‘E-Vouchers’ bar allows the user to see which e-vouchers they have received after they have done the quiz about York. These e-vouchers range from 5-15% discounts to use in local businesses such as coffee shops, restaurants, museums and other tourists places.

We decided to do this to help students, tourists as well as residents of York to help them find good and affordable local businesses thus supporting local businesses and improving their economy by establishing a partnership with them.

The quiz will feature nine varied categories all of which will test the knowledge of the city and its history:

York facts, Arts & Culture, Sports, Shopping, History & Heritage, Food & Drinks, Music & Night Life, Top Attractions and Things To Do As a Family;

To play you the user would tap on the spin button which will produce a question form a randomly selected category. Each of the questions will be multiple choice - with four answers to pick from. There will be 12 questions in total and if the user has answered eight or more of these right they will then be entitled to win a discount voucher for either a local business in York such as a cafe!
